Throughout the world and across the United States, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) people face violence, discrimination, and persecution because of their sexual orientation and gender identity. Too often these actions are justified in the name of religion. Religious leaders and people of faith nationwide are participating in the Gilead Sabbath Initiative in an effort to educate their faith communities about LGBTQ discrimination, to unite in prayer for LGBTQ justice, and to take responsible action. Join them today!
