This roundtable conversation with experts on faith and sexuality education addresses how to best support campers around sexual orientation and gender identity. Topics include everything from basics of sex ed to best practices when working with campers.
Preaching and Rape Culture. Rev. Dr. Neichelle Guidry defines rape culture, discusses how pulpits are used to perpetuate it, provides examples of sermons that engage with rape culture, and offers practical steps for transforming our theology and spirituality moving forward.
Sharing Our Sacred Stories: Igniting A New Conversation on Faith and Reproductive Justice. In this roundtable, faith-rooted abortion activists and caregivers discuss the role of storytelling in reproductive justice advocacy, share stories about the detrimental impact of the Hyde amendment, and consider how to treat our stories with the sacredness, care, and respect they deserve.
