We’re excited to share that Carol McDonald is the new chair of the Religious Institute’s Board of Directors. You can learn more about Carol and read her opening message as Board Chair below.

the Religious Institute board as its new chair. I am so inspired by the
work the Religious Institute already does to promote sexual, gender, and
reproductive justice. I have served on the board for 4 years now, and I am so
proud of the ways that we have grown and changed. I am looking forward to
seeing how that growth continues under my leadership.

chair is to elevate our work in articulating a moral vision for progressive
work and to expand our reach. By building relationships and strengthening our
messaging and our narrative, we can bring the faith and progressive communities
together in order to create the change we want to see in our communities, in
the nation, and in the world. I cannot wait to begin my work as chair of the
board of the Religious Institute, and I look forward to seeing what we can
